The Royal Health Awareness Society, the Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Education meet in a jo | Print |  E-mail
AMMAN – RHAS, the Olympic Committee and the M.O.E held a joint press conference on Thursday the 16th July 2009 at the King Hussein Club.
During the conference, a partnership between RHAS, the Olympic Committee and the M.O.E regarding the King Abdullah II Award for Physical Fitness was announced in addition to the announcement of the commencement of the KAIIA 2009 winner summer camps.
Heading the press conference were RHAS General Manager Mrs Enaam Barrishi, KAIIA Manager Mr. Samer Al-Kaseeh, General Secretary of the Olympic Committee Mrs Lana Jaghbeer, Head of Activities at the M.O.E Dr Abla Abu Nuwar and Head of Sports at the M.O.E Mr. Mohammad Othman.
In a speech she gave at the press conference, Barrishi expressed her belief in the importance of collaborating with related public and private organizations and the local community which was represented in the partnership with the Olympic Committee and the M.O.E to organize such a project.
Barrishi thanked the Olympic Committee for supporting the KAIIA Summer Camps for this year hoping that the participants benefit from them and that the collaboration and follow-up of RHAS, the Olympic Committee and the M.O.E continues to be of help to children throughout the kingdom.
